Do your students LOVE Write the Room? Mine do! It is a fun and engaging activity that gets your students moving! This differentiated Winter themed Write the Room focuses on either middle sounds or CVC words.

How to use:

Students walk around the room with a clipboard and recording sheet, looking for the Winter themed pictures. Then, they find the matching Winter picture on their recording sheet and look at the CVC picture. Last, they either write the middle sound or the CVC word on the recording sheet.

Winter Write the Room includes two differentiated versions- one recording sheet for recording the middle sound, and one recording sheet for sounding out and spelling the CVC word. Just print the picture cards once, but you can use it twice! I use this with my students to differentiate- some are working on finding the middle sound, while the others are spelling CVC words.

This product includes:

•TWO recording sheets with answer keys

-Middle Sounds

-CVC Words

•12 Winter themed picture cards with CVC words

You can print in color OR black and white.
