This fun writing activity includes:

-Writing focus topic "What do snowmen do at night?"
-Book suggestion to accompany writing topic
-beginning, middle, and end rough copy pages
-snowman template for good copy
-snowman ball writing template for good copy
-examples page

Tips:
Students can brainstorm ideas of what they think snowmen do at night.
*A great book to accompany this activity is Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner.
Students will use the rough draft pages to write their story on, and edit their work.
When students are ready to produce their good copy, they will write their stories on the snowball template.
They may use as many pages as they need.
When they are done they will cut out snowball(s) and attach them to snowman template by stapling them above the dashed line.
