Product Description

Are you trying to find new and fun ways to engage students in writing activities? As a school based occupational therapist, I am constantly trying to find ways to motivate and engage my students in handwriting activities and the writing process. This writing activity is an excellent resource for combining handwriting and written expression practice with a winter themed lesson. The handwriting pages have been designed with visual boundaries for students who have difficulty with sizing and placement of letters. There are also visual picture cues for adding details to sentences.

This freebie includes:

  • 1 Winter-themed Color and Write or Draw and Describe writing prompt
    • Staying at home on a snow day

  • Color and Write
    • In black & white, and color (yellow highlighted lines and color writing prompt pictures)
    • Recommended for students who have difficulty with fine motor skills and/or difficulty with ideation for drawing.

  • Draw and describe Writing prompt for students writing paragraphs with option to draw a picture.
    • In black & white, and color (yellow highlighted lines and color writing prompt pictures)

I hope you and your students enjoy these writing activities as much as I do!

Thank you!

Emily Bales
