The Think, Draw, Write Journal provides 20 different prompts all related to winter. Students follow the format of listening to/reading the question, thinking about it, drawing a picture to show their thinking and then writing about their thinking. This packet also includes a Think, Draw, Write Extension Page which can be used with each Think, Draw, Write prompt where students can write more based on their original idea. The writing journal is great for using daily or a few times a week in your literacy centers or whole group writing practice during the long winter season! This pack also include task cards (with the same writing prompts) that can be used in a writing center or to introduce the writing topic of the day.
