Product Description

These winter writing prompts will inspire your students to write all winter long! They are designed to give your students practice with 3 Common Core writing forms: opinion, informative and narrative. These pages will not teach each form of writing, rather they give them practice with each type of writing as it gets them ready for real life writing activities. The writing prompts can be used for a daily response journal or more structured and guided journal writing, after class/small group discussion or research. Use at a writing center, morning work, or set out for early finishers. Allow students to color and make into a class book or hang as a festive bulletin board.
