PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Wintery January activity consists of 16 wonder pages of graphing information and activities. It has ten different cut and paste graphs; one page for the New Year Celebration and 9 snowy scenes (not holiday based). It allows the children opportunities to add and compare same, most, and least as well as, using tally marks using the graph pictures. My students absolutely love using these. Once the page is complete they gather at the carpet and compare by counting their squares in each row. They finish the tally category and the most, same, least categories. We finish and review each page by discussing them together using my ipad and projector. You could also use a document camera. I find just taking a picture and showing it with the use of my classroom projector makes it easier for the kids to see all parts of the worksheet. I keep stickers cut in rows in a basket to pass out so once we go over the worksheet together they can put their sticker on their paper. I watch the children as we complete this as a group. Often I use the last worksheet page 10 as a quick quiz for each month. It’s a great way to know how the kids are doing on this project. Especially since we have to have data for the standards.

If you like this you will also enjoy my other graphing activities. If you need any specific graphing activities please let me know. I enjoy creating projects for specific needs. Thanks so much for purchasing this product.
