Celebrate Women's History Month! March is Women's History Month so why not celebrate by doing some reading about four incredible women in history!?
This reading is short (little more than a page and a half) and has two reflective questions written on the back of the reading so students can integrate the information and further create background knowledge.
This reading gives a short biography about the accomplishments of Clara Barton, Mary Anning, Ida B. Wells, and Joyce Chen. This is a great piece to do with students, have them do independently, or even jigsaw.
This is also a great reading for incorporating diversity into the class room as these women are American, African-Ameican, Asian-American, and English.
Hope you and your students enjoy!
