PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Women in History Research Project was designed to celebrate the lives of women who made a difference, provide opportunities to conduct a short research project and write informative text, and offer an aesthetically pleasing presentation for your classroom or hallway wall. It includes:
• 3 sheets to guide research
• 1 sheet for recording works cited
• 24 personalized photo/contribution sheets (one for each woman) to use as stand-alone mini posters, report covers, or displays
• 24 personalized lined sheets for writing informative text (one for each woman)
• 24 personalized blank sheets for typing informative text (one for each woman)
• 1 lined sheet of stationery with no personalization
• 1 blank sheet of stationery with no personalization
• 1 printable title page suitable to hang with projects

Research opportunities can be scaled to your needs:
• Sheet #1 - For a quick burst of research, ask each student to complete only the contribution sheet.
• Sheet #2 - If you want something a bit longer, add the first research sheet, which asks for biographical information and contributions.
• Sheet #3 - To probe deeper into each life, explore challenges faced and overcome.
• Sheet #4 - For higher order thinking, ask students to consider how history changed the woman’s life and how the woman changed history.
• Differentiation – Assign different sheets to individual learners in your class based on their needs.
