This hyperdoc is perfect for celebrating Women’s History Month (March) or showcasing famous, strong women in a variety of career fields (STEM). The hyperdoc includes activities/slides for all 13 women in the book She Persisted: 13 Women Who Changed the World by Chelsea Clinton. My suggestion would be to read aloud the picture book with your class and assign the hyperdoc in Google Classroom. It would be perfect for any reading class 3rd-6th grade and covers many ELA skills. It is also perfect for school library media specialists lessons. Another way to use this would be to assign the hyperdoc in Google Classroom to enrich students who are ahead in the regular classroom and can complete the hyperdoc in a more independent setting or small group.
In order to use Google Slides You must have a free Google Email Account. You may want to share this link with students by email or Google Classroom. When you open the Link: Women’s History Hyperdoc: She Persisted it will be “view only”. You will want to click File, Make a Copy. Then, you are able to edit the presentation or assign the presentation for students to complete in Google Classroom.
If you have any questions, please email me at email@example.com.
Do not click “present” mode. If using Google Classroom, add the assignment from your Google Drive and choose “make a copy for each student.”
Please note that this is a hyperdoc and links to a lot of websites. If at anytime a link becomes broken or you have any trouble, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be glad to fix them immediately.
Below are a few images of sample slides in the Hypderdoc. Please note the hypderdoc includes 15 active slides.
