Want an engaging way to help your students learn more about women in history? Especially in March, Women's History Month? This Women's History Library Scavenger Hunt provides one to four library lessons for you, helping your students learn about biographies and women achievers!
Included in this product are 44 cards, featuring these historical figures:
-Susan B. Anthony
-Lil Hardin Armstrong
-Aida de Acosta
-Ruth Bader Ginsburg
-Audrey Faye Hendricks
-Mamie "Peanut" Johnson
-Juliette Gordon Low
-Madam C. J. Walker
-Laura Ingalls Wilder
You don't have to have each of these titles in your library to use this scavenger hunt. Just make doubles of those that you DO have, and use this list to inform your collection development. Or have students use these cards to search an online database for information about their person. They'll write down the person's name and major accomplishment as an exit ticket (provided in this product), and can then research another person, if time permits.
Students can work on their own or in teams. The competition of searching for answers makes this an engaging activity for our students!
This product also includes:
-2 pages detailing How to Use this Product
-Link to a Google Sheet listing the names, book titles, authors, and major accomplishments for each woman achiever in this product
-2 full-page recording sheets or exit tickets, for students to write down what they learned
-3 half-page recording sheets or exit tickets
-4 blank cards to write in your own historical figures
This set is also part of my Mega Library Scavenger Hunt Bundle.
