My students and I are so excited about celebrating Women's History Month and the contributions of so many amazing women! Sudoku puzzles like these are perfect for use as Social Studies enrichment, at a math center, for morning work, with your early finishers, or as a bell-ringer.
This pack includes a Sudoku puzzle for those students who are new to Sudoku, as well as one for students who are ready for more of a challenge! Puzzles like these are terrific for improving critical thinking and deductive reasoning!
For the 4x4 picture puzzle, each student will simply need a puzzle handout, scissors, and a glue stick to get started. However, these puzzles also work beautifully when printed, laminated, and placed in a math or problem-solving center. Add magnets or Velcro for extra ease.
For the 9x9 number puzzle, each student will need a puzzle handout, a pencil with a good eraser, and patience! However, these puzzles also work beautifully when printed, laminated, and placed in a math or problem-solving center. Add a dry erase marker or vis-a-vis for use over and over.
