Use any time of the year......a poster for every child. March is Women's History Month in the US, so what a great opportunity to learn about the role these fascinating women played in history.

I have marked these women's history posters for grades 3-5, but please use your best judgement and click on the PREVIEW button above to get a better idea as to what you are purchasing.
Grab your media specialist, get your computers ready, and have fun learning about some new people.
You can use these posters at any point throughout the year, as I have not typed "Women's History Month' anywhere on them.
Let your students share what they have learned about their famous person by using this 8.5 x 11 biography poster.
On each poster you will find the name of a famous woman in history along with a black/white outline image of the person.
Students will fill in the below information:
*Their own name
*Birth/Death of individual (if they have died)
*Tell why the personis famous
*3 important facts about the person
*If they could ask the person a question, what would it be
*Personality trait and evidence
You will find that some are more famous than others, but with 38 posters, students could each do a different report. OR, if you want to focus on the more famous people, you could have 2 students do the same person. Use them however you would like.
There are 38 posters included in the pack, but if you need more famous women, you could also check into my other biography packs, which include some other women not included in this pack. I will include the links below.
A bonus piece of 'paragraph' writing paper is also included.
The Famous Women in History included are:
Susan B. Anthony
Mary McLeod Bethune
Anne Dudley Bradstreet
Harriet Beecher Stowe
** an additional matching blank template has been added - no name or image included, but the categories are the same
I have also included an 8.5x11 Title poster that you could laminate and hang above the posters.
My posters look great hanging in the hallway or in the classroom on a bulletin board.
PLEASE.. if you notice I have any typos, please send me a message before you rate the product and I will have a corrected version uploaded ASAP.. thank you. ~~Molly
NOTE: Once you have displayed them, they would be great to bind in order to make a class book. Use the title page I made as the cover for the book. What a great class project!! Kids will enjoy reading it for the rest of the year.
Thanks so much, as I always appreciate it when people stop by to look at my products.
