Product Description
This project is a wonderful way to help your students research notable American women. They research a famous woman, tell how she is notable, and why the student admires that woman in three guided paragraphs. Then the students create a commemorative coin in the style of the dollar coin for Sacagawea or Susan B. Anthony. Finally, they explain why they used the symbols they chose on their coin.

I have included a rubric and it is unlocked so you can change it to suit your needs.
