UPDATED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 3/7
This Women's History Month Activities & Mini-Unit for Middle School is a great way to get students to do their own research, find relevant information online, think critically, answer challenging and though-provoking questions - and all in a fun and informative way! We've also included a great graphic organizer to help students when writing their essays (includes introduction, claim, premise, evidence, justification, and conclusion).
First, students will be asked to do research on a famous female figure from history. Additionally, students will dig deeper into the research to find evidence and provide justification for their choices. This unit is NOT simply a "find information and write it down" unit - it goes much deeper than that, to get students to think critically and spend time logically justifying their reasoning.
An easy-to-use activity to help celebrate Women's History Month for Middle School students - enjoy!
