Do you want to set a purpose for reading texts about the Women’s Suffrage Movement and assess knowledge of content and standards? This set of task cards can help! Task cards can be used as a teacher resource by putting the cards on a ring and addressing them throughout the lesson or unit based on texts you provide to students. Teachers can post the questions on the board as a guide for reading. These cards can also be utilized as a student resource where individual students, pairs or groups are tasked with responding to specific cards. Task cards are also a great resource for literacy centers or reading response journals.
*For repeated use, cards should be printed on card stock and/or laminated.
