Wonder, by R.J. Palacio, has taken our classroom by storm. The upper elementary/middle school classrooms that do not use this book as a read-aloud are few and far between. There is so much to teach with this book, and most of it goes beyond reading comprehension and vocabulary. Wonder is a fantastic read-aloud, While the best-seller in my store is my Wonder close-reading unit (and it is certainly not the only one out there…many TPT sellers have great Wonder units), some teachers enjoy reading this book without any sort of written assessment, just classroom discussion. This is completely understandable. With my Wonder task card booster pack, you can still work in lots of reading comprehension, inferencing, and vocabulary-building while simultaneously providing clarification on all of the great pop culture references the author makes in the book!
Please message me with any questions, and don't forget to leave feedback...it's like TPT money!!!
