Thank you for your purchase!
This unit is divided into sections, this is how I use each:
Rhyming, Opposites, and Synonyms: Cut out the cards and use them to play rhyming or opposites memory. Or a game I call “lucky duck” – Spread all the cards on the table and have the student pick one. This is the Card we want to match. Take turns flipping over a card and see if it is the corresponding card. Whoever finds the right card is the ‘lucky duck’ and gets to keep the pair!
Sequence: Cut and laminate the cards, see if the child can sequence the story.
Sorting: Cut out the sorting cards, you can put Velcro on the back and on the sorting chart, or use sticky tac, or just lay them down.
Where is the pig? I use these to work on concepts. You can also cut out the pig on this page and take turns putting them around the room.
Compare and contrast: Have the child name what makes the 2 items the same, and what makes them different.
Following Directions: Using the instructions, have the child carry them out using the black and white picture and some basic materials.
Dress the Pig: Use the items to dress the pig – I have a copy laminated so I can re-use the activity. Can also be left unlaminated for a craft activity.
