I print these and now my students are out of journals and in portfolios so I print back and front. If you are in journals just print each page 1 by 1.
Ok here is your hots to each daily learning target (DLT) as you can see each day matches for each week (day 2 and 7 Tuesday, day 3 and 8 Wednesday, day 4 and 9 Thursday, day 5 and 10 Friday)
They are hand on hand because what we do week 1 is the same thing we do week 2 and students get to see how it was done week 1 which is really the i do and we do week with the standards.
Because this is the 3rd week with the same standard I kind of dug deeper into it. You will only need this as an artifact of teaching the standard daily as it spirals down for deeper understanding.
As you can see week 1 is more framed for a correct direction to responding appropriately and week 2 is bare for the student to respond independently while using week 1 as a reference. I see this works for my kids now and wanted to share. hope it works
my graphic organizer is a poster with each sub section (text features) of the story where the students will state the main idea of each section and one detail so by the end of the week they are able to state the main idea of the whole text.
(I only have 4 days because here in Miami-Dade we will have two Mondays in a row off. Feel free to add a day to fit your needs)
enjoy let me know if you need me to explain further
