WHAT'S INCLUDED:

40 Vocabulary Cards: There are eight vocabulary cards included in this resource. Each card contains the word, its part of speech, and its definition.

5 Daily Activities Per Week: There is an activity for students to work on each day. For a detailed look at each activity, please look at the preview or click the link to go to each week's preview.

  • Shades of Meaning Cards: 10 cards are included for each week that go along with the Shades of Meaning activity.

  • 5 Task Card Sets: 5 task card sets of 20 cards each are included for four of the weeks. The concepts covered are context clues, synonyms and antonyms, suffixes, and root words.

  • 5 Anchor Charts: An anchor chart is included for each week in black and white and color.

5 Vocabulary Challenges:There is a vocabulary challenge included in this resource for each week where students can be divided into teams to find their vocabulary words. Each time they find a vocabulary word (in their reading, on a sign, etc) they earn a point for their team.

3 Daily Activity Options: Within this resource, you will find a black and white version of the daily activities, a colored version, and a Google Slides version.

Summative Vocabulary Test: A summative vocabulary test is included, which will test student's knowledge of their words from the previous five weeks.

Answer Keys: An answer key is included for each daily activity in every week as well as the summative test.
