Forest, woodland and nocturnal animals - this fact card mini unit works with all 3 themes! Some of the information on these cards is part of my nonfiction unit on Squirrels
There are three sets of fact cards: one set each for squirrels, raccoons and skunks
These cards can be used in many ways.
- Hang them around the room for a “Woodland Facts Walk”
- Place them in a center for small groups
- Pass out the fact cards and question cards and have students find their match
- Give each student a fact card. Have them find a partner and read their cards to each other. After a few moments, switch partners. See how many questions the group can answer after reading/hearing the fact card information.
3 sets of 12 cards, one set for each animal (squirrels, raccoons and skunks)
- question/recording sheet
- match the question
- written response
Each set of fact cards is in both color and black and white.
