Word analysis strategies are a huge part of our reading instruction. This digital and printable flip book makes it easy for students to review word analysis strategies and apply them as they read. This is fantastic to use for scaffolded notetaking and for review during reading workshop throughout the year.
Just added in March 2021: This flip book now includes a digital version that students can access in Google Slides.
Each strategy has sections for instruction/review (including a definition and examples) and prompts for students to apply the strategy and record examples as they read. Depending on your students, you might use this during guided reading or small group practice, or assign it to students to complete independently with books of their choice.
