Complete your train by spelling out the CVC word on the engine!
There are 3 different versions of this game, so it's really easy to differentiate for a variety of learning levels! There are 30 words total - 6 words for each short vowel.
Version 1 - The word is spelled out on the engine, with a picture of the word attached on the 1st train car. Students then spell out the word using the individual letter train cars. The word on the engine allows extra support for kids who struggle. They have the word to look at so they know what letters they need. End train has the engine and 4 cars to it.
Version 2 - The engine only has the picture on it. Students then find the car that has the full word of the picture. End train has the engine and 1 car to it.
Version 3 - The engine only has the picture on it. Students then spell out the word with the individual letter cars. This version is good for students that have a higher skill level and need a bit more of a challenge. End train has the engine and 3 cars to it.
