This is a simple but powerful word building kit.
The letter pages are intentionally made graphics free because letters are intended to be cut apart. Although I’m not a fan of Comic Sans Font, this was originally made as an intervention tool so I wanted it to be free of any possible distractions.
A black and white copies as well as color coded copies are included. Recording sheets can be copied or laminated for multiple uses with dry-erase markers.
Copy and laminate the pages. Then have students cut the letters apart. Keep the word frame intact to use for letter placement. If you are making longer words, simply attach two frames together.
Depending on the level of the student, use the appropriate blends, digraphs or word families to make words.
Then have the students read the words. They can say or write sentences with the words. They can illustrate the words.
You can select certain letters to make mystery words, you can focus on word families.
Make it fit whatever your need may be.
