This is a fun word building activity we did every Wednesday. In fact, we called it Word World Wednesday. We would watch the segment of the popular PBS show Word World that matched our targeted vowels, cut out the attached letters, and build the indicated words. Students would place their letters in a plastic baggie or envelope to practice at home. The files are two pages each. I printed each page on construction paper. Each child would receive a grid of letters and word list. With four grids on each page, I only had to run 7 copies. I have included a Microsoft Word version for your own modifications and a PDF for immediate use. Each download contains 4 – 5 activities. Have fun!!
