Do you struggle with how to help your students improve their "word choice" in their writing? If you have a student with a low vocabulary, it can feel especially frustrating to expect them to use sophisticated words when they are writing. One way to help students out with this is to focus on commonly used "weak" words, and kicking them up a notch!

This product identifies those words that most kids use in narrative writing. There are related word lists that students can refer to all year, as well as activities to introduce, act out, and discuss the shades of meaning of the new words they are learning.
