Word Decoding Center Activity:
The worksheets get progressing harder so be aware of what you are copying making sure you have already taught that sound or combinations of sounds. You could also have the answer key at the center so students could check their own work.
Word Decoding Assessment:
Use worksheets as an assessment to check if you students know a certain sound or combination of sounds. I have found the bubble-in worksheets were a lot easier for students so you could do a combination of both when doing your assessments.
Word Decoding Practice or Assessment Booklet:
Make a practice booklet for students. I did this before our big end of the year reading test so they were familiar with what they were expected to do. I have included a cover to use for the booklet if you choose this path.
Kids practice or are assessed on their word decoding skills using these easy to prepare worksheets!
