Print buttons on cardstock. Laminate and cut. Attach sticky Velcro. Attach sticky Velcro to several clothespins. Velcro the words you are working on to the clothespins and post the coordinating word cards around the classroom. Copy the Detective Evidence
recording pages for students to use with clipboards. Let the detective work begin!
Differentiate by the number of clips on students clipboards/number of words they’re
looking for, also by recording expectation (just letters vs. words/pictures).
(Don’t forget to print multiple copies of the words you are using to post around the room!)
