Each of the five PowerPoint presentations contains 20 slides. Slide 2 emphasizes auditory practice of phonics with the recognition of rhyming words using pictures. Slides 3 and 4 connect phonemes with corresponding graphemes for the word family. Slides 6 to 17 give practice with applying knowledge of phoneme-grapheme correspondence to sound out words using timed animation for support. Slides 16 and 17 give practice sounding out words without the support of the timed animation. The remaining slides include the title, directions, and teacher notes.
A different colored polka dot background is used to help distinguish each presentation. The font for all presentations is Century Gothic in blue.
The sample images show four slides from different presentations. The preview download is a PDF copy of the _ig presentation so that you can get a better visual of the layout; each of the presentations follow this same format. The animations do not work in the preview.
