53 Word Sorts!
Use these word sorts as a fun way to practice word families.
**Note this includes all 5 of my Word Family Short and Long Vowel Sorting Activities.
You could use them as a center or in a small group or for partner work or independent work. They could even be used as fun homework assignment.
Students can cut out the words, sort them, and glue them under the correct word family. They can use the blank recording sheet or just a piece of construction paper.
Students can also write the words to sort them or color in the boxes two different colors to show which word family the word belongs to.
You could also laminate these and create a center with them.
Print out copies of the recording sheet for each student. They will need one copy for each game they play. If this is at a center, you could laminate the recording sheets. You could even use Velcro.
These sorts include short and long a word families.
