After working so much on nouns, pronouns, and plural nouns, I decided to whip up a workstation for my students to use during Daily 5 Word Work. In this station, they will locate different types of words and/or pictures in newspapers and magazines, cut them out, and sort/glue them into the correct column (different parts of speech).
This is a great station for Literacy Centers/Daily 5 or even for early finishers, as it is so self-guided. And I don't know about you, but my students think being able to cut things out of newspapers and magazines is the coolest thing EVER. :) Instant engagement.
