Use this adapted word chart to help your students with Reading Comprehension! Students can use their knowledge of synonyms, antonyms, definitions and comprehension checks using picture examples.
I use this chart with my Special Ed students as I teach them their new vocabulary words within a story. Some of my students are learning to look up words in a dictionary while others are learning synonyms, antonyms and meanings of words through activities and using VB (Verbal Behavior) methodologies with picture cards and words.
Included are 2 charts for writers and non-writers. The non-writers chart can be laminated and use velcro to fill in the chart. Depending on your student, use 1-3 choices for errorless teaching or to provide distractors. All of the pieces are editable for you!
