This is a set of ten word problems where the student use it rates to figure out how much slush a slush puppy machine dispensed for the day in total.
I like the idea that students doing this kind of work prepares them for the real world, as there is an "application" they are doing the math for in the slush machine story, vs. doing the problems as alone.
