A set of 6 worksheets and a quiz on problem solving with more than one step, designed for third grade level. Reviews one-step word problems in the context of setting up an equation to simplify/solve, then progresses to two-step, and then three or more steps. Assumes that the student has mastered the content taught in my Order of Operations and Writing Expressions & Equations worksheets.
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created this to use with my tutoring students; if they're having trouble solving problems with more than one step, practicing it with these worksheets always helps them.
