Have you ever wondered how that might feel to struggle with expressive language? This demonstration is great for workshops and in-services to help teachers understand.
Children with expressive language disorders often struggle with word-retrieval, and have difficulty smoothly and efficiently expressing themselves.
This demonstration is not intended to exactly simulate an expressive language disorder, but is thought-provoking and a great discussion starter to use at an In-service or parent conference. A handout with helpful tips for classroom teachers is also included.
- 2 Demonstration Pages with color words to read. On one page the color of the text matches the word, on the second it does not.
- Instructions for the demonstration
-Teacher Handout with 10 tips for Classroom Teachers
