This word search maker allows you to create a variety of puzzles for your own list of words. Create word search puzzles for student names, holidays, spelling lists, vocabulary words, and more!
This editable PDF requires just a few simple steps. You can enter up to 36 words, but you don’t have to use all of the spaces. After entering your word list, you get to choose the level of difficulty for your students. This determines how words are placed in the puzzle (horizontally, vertically, diagonally, forwards, backwards, etc.). This is a great way to differentiate for your students. Finally, you get to select the clipart image that appears next to your puzzle. There are several themes to choose from: everyday kids, teens, back-to-school, fall, summer, winter, and spring. Don’t worry, an answer key will generate, too!
Once your word search is done, print out the copies you need for your students. Use the Save As feature to save the file or clear the list and start creating a new word search.
