Word Trees {Blend, Read and Write Words}

Blending word trees! These are worksheets are great for beginning readers and writers! THE CVC WORD TREE FORMAT IS PERFECT TO ENCOURAGE KID'S BLENDING SKILLS! ~~~~VIEW the PREVIEW~~~

Each CVC word is broken down into a "tree" word so that your students can easily decode and blend the word. All the words and sentences include tracking dots. I find that students love using the tracking dots to help them keep their focus.

This packet includes seven types of skills to practice:

1. Decode and blend the word

2. Read the word

3. Trace the word

4. Box the word

5. Write the word

6. Read the sentence containing the word

7. Copy the sentence containing the word

You can use this resource with your students to practice decoding, blending, and writing CVC words. Each CVC word is differentiated within the printable. Your kiddos can begin with decoding and blending, then they move onto reading and writing the word in different ways, and finally they can read the word in a sentence and then copy the sentence to practice printing as well.
