This activity practices the first 100 Dolch sight words. Cut out and laminate the footprints. Line the feet down the side of the classroom in a left, right pattern. A group of 4-5 students line up at the beginning of the line. They roll a die (preferably a large foam one) and move that number of feet. When they land on their number, they say the word. If they get it incorrect, they return to start. If they get it right, they stand on one foot until their next turn. If they lose their balance, they also return to start. The first person to the end wins. I use this game during my center time with a parent.
