Each student will spin the spinner to see where the arrow lands. He or she will read the clue and find an answer on the word wall. The game will continue until everyone has had 5 turns. A challenge activity asks students to play “Eye Spy” by naming a type of word seen on the word wall and having a partner guess what it is. Example: “I spy a verb that begins with the letter Dd”. This activity includes the literacy station task card with step-by-step directions, a spinner and arrow for a total of 3 pages.
