If you have a word wall in your classroom, which you probably do, you've probably had students who don't use it or can't read it. Well, this portable word wall is just what you're looking for! This portable word wall is a great way to help your students keep the words they need close at hand.
The word wall comes in 4 different colors- teal, green, blue, and purple as well as black and white. Each color contains 29 pages, for a total of 145 pages in the entire packet.
It includes common sight words for 3rd-5th grades.
At the end of each word wall, there are two blank pages. This is useful if you would like to leave room to add more words throughout the year (which is recommended).
This word wall can be used three ways:
Print out, laminate, and cut out the word wall. Punch a hole in each letter and attach a binder ring. Hang each letter on a hook on the wall by the binder ring. When students need to look up how to spell a word, they simple take the letter they need. For example: if a student needs to look up the word “language” they would just take the cards on the “L” ring. You can hang a few of each letter if you wish. This will prevent students from having to wait around for a letter.
Prepare the same was as above, but instead of putting each letter on a separate binder ring, put all of the letter cards on one binder ring and give each group in your classroom a set. I would recommend keeping it wherever they keep group supplies. Since there are 4 colors, you could give each group a different color.
Prepare the same way as above, but give each student their own copy to keep in their desk or notebook. If you’re making every student one, I would recommend printing in b&w and not laminating.

I hope you enjoy! As always, my goal is to make teaching a breeze. :)
