Activity 1: Real or Silly Words?
Read and sort the words. A student recording page is included.
Activity 2: Vowel Sorting
Sort the gumball picture cards by their vowels and place them on the appropriate gumball machine. A student recording page is included.
Activity 3: Find the Missing Letters
Students use letter tiles, magnetic letters, or the gumball letters {included} to complete the words. A mix of CVC, CVCC, and CCVC words are included.
Activity 4: S-T-R-E-T-C-H Out the CVC, CCVC, and CVCC Words
Mats can be used for a variety of purposes. Students can use letter tiles, magnetic letters, or bubble gum letters {included} to form words. CVC, CCVC, and CVCC word lists are included.
