This is an engaging, dog-themed, word work game. It is easy to play, and students can play it independently during reading rotations. I made a copy of each of the game board pieces, and pasted them onto a piece of colorful construction paper. I then laminated it. I made four copies of the letter recording sheet, and placed them in sheet protectors. The students could then use dry erase markers to record their letters. They really enjoyed racing to see who could spell the most words out of the letters they collected. This game could also be used to practice spelling words of the week. I hope your students enjoy this game, I know mine did!
