Product Description
This product includes ten word work activity centers. Each activity comes with three template options (10 word option, 12 word option, and a 16 word option). You will need some additional supplies to create these centers. However, most items you probably already have. Label headers are also included to post on a bin or drawer. Below is the description of each activity included.

1. Ghost Words
Supplies needed: white crayon and markers
How it works: Students write words in the boxes using a white crayon. They then color over the words with a marker and watch them appear.

2. Rainbow Roll
Supplies needed: markers or crayons, die
How it works: Students roll the die. They then use the rainbow chart to see which color matches the number that they rolled. They write the word in the box using the color noted on the chart.

3. Smelly Words
Supplies needed: scented markers
How it works: Students write their words in the boxes using scented markers.

4. Stencil It
Supplies needed: small alphabet stencils and pencils
How it works: Students write their words in the boxes using the stencils.

5. Stamp It
Supplies needed: alphabet stamps and ink pad
How it works: Students stamp their words into the boxes using the stamps and ink pad.

6. Textured Words
Supplies needed: crayons and texture boards
How it works: Option 1: Students place their papers on a textured board. They then write their words using a crayon. The words will appear with a textured effect. Option 2: Students write their words with a black marker, and then color the entire box using a crayon on top of a textured board.

7. Glow Words
Supplies needed: pencils and highlighters
How it words: Students write their words using pencils. Then they take a highlighter and highlight the letters that are in their words, using the banner at the top of each word box.

8. Fancy Words
Supplies needed: black marker and crayons
How it works: Students write their words using a black marker. Then they decorate the boxes with different designs using crayons.

9. Code Words
Supplies needed: pencils
How it works: Students use the Secret Code Chart to see which symbols represent the letters in the word. They draw the symbols instead of the letters.

10.Pyramid Words
Supplies needed: pencils
How it works: Students write their words inside the triangles by adding on letters each time. Example: The word cat would be c (at the top) then ca (in the middle) and cat (at the bottom).
