Each of these fun and engaging Tile Tangle task cards features 7 letter tiles, each with a traditional Scrabble point value. Students use the tiles to create as many words as they can and then total up their points. Older students will only need the cards, but you may want to have real Scrabble tiles available for younger students to manipulate. To add differentiation there are also 7 challenge cards which can be used with any other card in the set. You can even use more than one challenge card at a time. In addition, there are 4 different answer sheets to accommodate all grade levels and abilities.

Use these cards at a center, station, or display with a document camera for the whole class. Students can play individually or competitively in groups. If you have students who want to know every possible word combination, you can plug the seven letters into the website listed on the second page for a full list.
