    Where's that Sound? Sorts

    Description

    Sound sorts are a great way to give your students practice with isolating and identifying sounds! This bundle contains 12 sets of sorts, with 407 individual sorts included. Give your students lots of phonemic awareness practice. These printable short vowel sorts are black and white and easy on ink. You copy, students cut and paste! Use these for formative assessments, literacy centers, or whole class activities. They make great homework activities too. Sound sorts are a great way to find out what your students know! Sound sorts also help with fine motor skills, concentration, sorting/classification, and problem solving!

    Included are the following items:

    Beginning Sound Phoneme Isolation Sorts- includes b, c, d, f, g, h, j, l, m, n, p, s, t. This resource includes a variety of beginning sound sorts, and includes some voiced/unvoiced sorts as well.

    Ending Sound Phoneme Isolation Sorts- n, p, t, g, b, d, m, l, k and s. This resource includes a variety of ending sound sorts, and includes some voiced/unvoiced sorts as well.

    Short Vowel Picture Sorts- every vowel combination is included, as well as single letter sorts (ex. a/not a)

    Consonant Digraph Phoneme Isolation Sorts- includes th, sh, ch, ph, wh, wr, kn, and ending ph, sh, th, ch, and ck. There are also sorts that include beginning and ending sound sorts for the same sort, such as begins with sh and ends with sh.

    Concepts of Print and Print Awareness Printable Sorting Activities- includes letter/word sorts, capital letter/lowercase letter sorts, letter/word/sentence sorts, picture/word sorts, and number/letter sorts. There are 5 of each sort included.

    Where's That Sound? Sorts- includes several consonant sorts to practice identifying where the sound is heard in the word (beginning or end of word). Also includes 4 vowel sorts to practice identifying where the sound is heard (medial or final vowel sound). Exclusive to this bundle!
