These are picture cards for the popular articulation reinforcer game "Don't Break the Ice" by Hasbro.
Included are 18 pairs of word-initial /k/ pictures and words with NO /t, d/ in the word-final position! And, because "Don't Break the Ice" only needs 34 small blocks, there are two extra pairs of initial /k/ words to help customize to your students. So for example, if your student is not ready for both initial and medial/final /k/ in the same word, take out cake and cookie. Or, if your student doesn't have fricatives or affricates, take out cash and couch.
Also included are picture cards to add a little challenge to the game. When the game is set up, students can draw a card that tells them which cube they must attempt to knock down without the bear falling.
*The Category game includes 1"x1" grids numbered 1-32 with an accompanying list of categories for which the student must name a designated number of members either before play or during play.
To assemble: I highly recommend a product such as Tack it Over and Over after product is laminated! This keeps you from having to put velcro on your ice cubes!
