These worksheets are ideal for reviewing quarter and eighth note rhythms, but your students may get hungry in the process! Each page features entrees from a meal that have words broken down into syllables. The teacher or students can speak and clap along with each phrase. Then students determine which rhythm should go in the boxes underneath and write the corresponding notation. Number 7 on each page is for students to make their own entree, break it down into syllables, then write the rhythm that goes with it. Younger students may need assistance with this, or you may opt to just have them write their own rhythm without the words.
There are four sheets total (breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert).
