Hyper kids, testing, (extra coffee), irritable teachers, report cards, memory books, (extra coffee), next year's classroom ordering, student placements for 3rd grade, field trips, (extra coffee), need I say more? This is the time of year that I think all teachers need to remind ourselves and each other to take deep breaths, get to bed early, and push through, right? I have something that I like to do with my students at the end of every school year and I'd like to share it with you. Introducing...End of Year Words of Wisdom! I have my students write some Words of Wisdom for my next year's class. When my new crew of kids come in the fall, they enjoy listening to this advice! This activity is a nice way to wrap up the school year and take a walk down memory lane as you reflect on all of the learning and fun that took place that year! I have included a Writing Template that is geared for grades kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth! Enjoy!
