Description

Do you struggle to keep students engaged in vocabulary work without making more work for yourself? The Words to Know program engages students with a variety of skills and activities. Printables and matching teacher presentation files include context clues, word origins, parts of speech, and more. Video word lists, Quizlet study sets, and Kahoot games set this product apart from the rest.

No-prep printable activities are ready to be used with the corresponding teacher presentation file of your choice (Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Smart Notebook). Introduce each unit with a video word list, use a variety of printables to keep students engaged, and allow students to interact with the vocabulary words through image activities with optional QR codes, optional group and independent activities, and Quizlet Study sets. Teachers Like You Said:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Vickie S. said, "This is so perfect for small group, independent practice for my students who want to learn above their peers. Thanks for solving a differentiation problem in a group of middle school boys."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐See Us Learn said, "I teach 6th grade and have students with a wide variety of vocabulary levels, and your pack had something for everyone. We just finished the first two weeks, and the words were interesting, the pack was very user-friendly, and the words and worksheets have been accessible to my students of all different ability levels. The clear-cut format worked really well for my students with attention issues. I personally LOVED that the teacher presentations contain all of the student worksheets in a presentation format that is easy for students to follow along with while giving me the added benefit of not having to keep flipping back and forth from the presentation to the student worksheets open in a separate PDF. It really streamlined the whole instructional process."

A note about technology:

You do not have to use the digital activities to use this program. They are optional. Also, note that you do not have to be able to use a QR code scanner to use the QR code activities. The images are also available in the presentation file of your choice and could even be used whole class if you are unable to use QR codes in small group activities. Note that neither I nor TPT are in control of the external resources Kahoot or Quizlet, which are being used here with the express written permission of Kahoot and Quizlet and in accordance with their terms of use. If you have technical issues with these websites, please contact their support directly. Finally, you must have a Google account to use the Google Slides or Google forms activities.

After purchase, you will download a zipped file that includes all elements of the product organized for ease of use. There is no special software required to unzip the file folder. But, the instructions may vary depending on your system. If you are unfamiliar with unzipping file folders, please contact TPT for assistance.
