Wordzo is a game like Uno. Students shuffle the cards and deal five cards to each player. Then, players take turns putting a card down on the discard pile. The card must be the same color as the card previously put on the discard pile or the card must have the same vowel pattern in order for it to be played. Students should read the words on the cards as they discard each card. Whoever runs out of cards first wins! There are some other cards in the deck, and students follow the directions on those cards when they wish to play them. If a student can't play a card, they can draw one from the draw pile.
The last page in this document is for the backs of the cards so students can't see through the cards into other players' hands.
