This resource will help hold your students accountable during Work on Writing! This resource is aligned with the Common Core Standards "Responding to Literature." Students glue the literature menu and mini graphic organizers into their journals for use during independent time.
Students can choose a reading skill from the menu, then refer to the mini graphic organizer that's already glued in their journal to help them get started. This reduces the number of copies and allows the students to keep their reading responses all on one place! No more hoping students refer to the graphic organizers/anchor charts/sentence starters around the room or in binders.
